I grabbed my first camera in the cradle, a camera that had been passed down in the family for generations and many years ago was enchanted by a Navajo chief. Since then, it has taken amazing photos, and I feel my mission is to capture these images...

You won't find such made-up nonsense from the book “Become a Wedding Photographer in a Weekend” here. Honestly, I started taking photos in high school because having a DSLR was the second easiest way to meet girls (the first, of course, being a guitar, but my fingers couldn’t get past "Smoke on the Water" after a month of playing).

My first shoots included friends, prom nights, music bands, and also my first wedding. I was a nervous wreck, spent the entire night before the big day picking a country to emigrate to in case I missed the first kiss/first dance/accidentally deleted all the photos. Fortunately, emigration didn’t happen, the bride was thanking me for a week, and I realized that I would never get tired of photographing weddings.

I'm not one of those photographers who twist couples into yoga-like poses or body-check the officiant in a church for a better view of the ring exchange. I prefer a documentary style of photography without directing the action. Emotions flow at every wedding like Becherovka at the Castle, you just need to capture them, not create artificial poses with empty smiles. The greatest compliment for me is when I hear, “I didn't even know you were taking that picture.”
